I recently had my second appointment with hygienist Jenna Reynolds. She is exceptionally professional and simultaneously very friendly. Jenna offers detailed and helpful advice that is easy to understand and implement. I wholeheartedly recommend Black & Brown Dental in Dunfermline.

I contacted North Bridge Dental and the receptionists were very empathic and understood the absolutely brutal way I had been treated at another Dentist in Hawick. I have had extreme phobia and terrified of the Dentist since a child. I had built up the courage and faith at dentists over the years. The Dentist I had contacted destroyed every bit of confidence I had. Was treated by a Dental Technician ( can’t be described as a Dentist in this country) Despite officially complaining got nowhere. After contacting Northbridge Dental Faye Dean was amazing and renewed my faith in Dentists. She removed 3 teeth at once and I was able to sit through the treatment, Faye constantly reassured me and was extremely empathic towards my extreme phobia. I am 66 and I can honestly say she has been the most gentle and pain free Dentist I have been to. I have been a client for 18 months I wouldn’t go anywhere else
I recently completed treatment with Ross, including Invisalign, composite veneers, and teeth whitening, and I am delighted with the results.From the start, the team were friendly, professional, and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted to achieve. I would like to sincerely thank Dr Sofia and her assistant Lisa for their professionalism and care. I was very nervous before having my tooth removed, but it went much more smoothly than I had expected. Sofia explained every stage of the procedure as we went along and was very supportive, whilst Lisa was very attentive and friendly.The procedure was comfortable and painless, and the atmosphere in the clinic was welcoming and professional. I particularly appreciated the caring attitude towards the patient and the attention to detail. The extraction was quick and painless, and the whole process took place in a calm and comfortable atmosphere.I wholeheartedly recommend this team to anyone who is afraid of dentists or is looking for truly good specialists.
This was the second time I've been here to get a wisdom tooth removed, and they couldn't have made me feel more comfortable.Julie and Leighanne are amazing, professional and down to earth. They had me laughing just before I was sedated and before I knew it, it was over. I couldn't recommend this place any higher.
All guys I was in contact with were very nice and competent. Johann the dentist and his assistant made a really good job. Explained everything with all pros and cons. The treatment was absolute pain free. Would recommend to go there.
Deborah Park completed my cosmetic dentistry after Chris Jordan left the practice.I did feel apprehensive, at first, as I had done a lot of research to find someone I could trust to deal with my problem teeth and was therefore anxious when he informed me he was leaving the practice half way through my treatment! I need not have worried as Deborah is a perfectionist whose precision and dedication to the improvement of my teeth has resulted in a beautiful end result!I am thrilled with my new smile.😁Thank you Deborah. 🤗
The best dentist experience I've ever had. Niall was incredibly professional and the reception staff were lovely. I was also a big fan of the use of 3D and other imaging technology that allowed me to really understand what Niall was talking about when walking through my examination. Highly recommend!!
Lee was brilliant with my kids today, especially my son who gets a bit nervous. X-rays and cleaning were all done with ease. He was professional, friendly and great with the children, chatting and joking with them throughout, which really helped put them at ease. He also gave them excellent advice on brushing, flossing and looking after their teeth. Highly recommended.
2 old fillings restored and root canal completed…all totally pain free! in such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. After my dentist retired last year, I was so apprehensive about going to someone else, but Jane was highly recommended…and I’m so happy to have found my new dentist - i trusted her straight away, so patient & kind, explaining everything as you go. Unfortunately due to my medication to help control my Multiple Sclerosis causing dry mouth, even using prescribed toothpaste and mouthwash I lost 9 of my top teeth.My own dentist recommended Gerry when we discussed implants.After contacting The Tooth Doctor I had my free consultation where we discussed my options and I was given a no obligation estimate for my treatment plan.On my 1st apt with Gerry, I was very relaxed about the full process, Gerry explained every detail of my treatment plan.After my bone graft and sinus lift all of which was done without sedation whilst listening to a playlist of my choice, I healed and then underwent my implant surgery. Once again healed and finally after a longer time than expected due to health issues with my MS, I finally got my implants fitted and they look amazing and I have regained my confidence to have a full smile and not have to worry about the issues that wearing a plate brings to your day to day living.Everyone has commented on how natural they look.Gerry and his team are amazing and make you feel so welcome and truly adhere to their moto of pain free dentistry.
I recently had laser treatment for peridontitis.At the time I was very anxious about the long term outcome for periodontitis and the treatment itself.However the staff at Links could not have been more reassuring and professional.Moon carried out the treatment and Im happy to say my condition is in remission.I would fully recommend .
Fantastic dentist recommended to me by my stepson, gary. Had to get an emergency appointment after gary knocked my two front teeth out during an unexpectedly frantic and violent game of air hockey. Due to my significant girth, the doctor administered a hefty dose of anesthetic. After my procedure I entered my car, which is a reconditioned ford cortina. The affects of the anesthetic was still lingering as I knocked over a refuse receptical, or bin, for the layman. Upon waking from a 9 hour slumber, my wife, Trisha, showed me the dash cam footage of my journey home. It was like the scene from Wolves in Walls Street. Mind that bit? Good film and I consider di caprio unlucky to miss out on the Oscar for it. The footage showed me careering into a parked Renault clio and I drove away without recognition of my error. I also found myself at the payment window of a mcdonalds drive through asking for two well fired rolls n egg. A good day had by all
Came down from Aberdeen yesterday. Got two fillings done yesterday/ 3D scan for teeth whitening. Jack Muirhead was absolutely brilliant, same with the rest of the staff. Will definitely be back in the future
A fantastic practiceI’ve had various treatments from Olivia, Thurga and Tony.The work has been a mixture of cosmetic (Invisalign and composite bonding and standard procedures.All work done to a fantastic standard, all of the the dentists listed above are extremely competent, friendly and positive.When I first attended the practice i was ashamed of my smile, now i am proud of it.
Earlier this week, I'd seen my GP, who gave antibiotics and advised I should see a dentist to assess further within a few days. I was very concerned and uncertain what was happening. I phoned Hamilton Dental Centre and their receptionist (whose name I have forgotten - I'm so sorry!) really set the tone. She was genuinely concerned, professional and kind. She spoke to one of their dentists and he agreed to see me a few hours later. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist when I arrived and I was taken in by dentist, Jack, and dental nurse Audrey, promptly. Jack was very thorough in the oral exam, did x-rays, then spent time to explain in detail what he was doing and why. Although my my issue is not dental-related (which is what I thought), I now have a much better understanding of what is potentially going on and a clearer view forward from here. I highly recommend Hamilton Dental Centre.
I’ve been ok with dentists and needles but there is something about getting work done that I get really anxious about. I had a filling on the NHS which chipped after 2 weeks. I saw Fraser for an appointment on the Monday who took the time to talk me through all my options and show me what was going on. 3 days later and I’m being seen (after I finished work for the day) by the excellent Natalie for a clean and to have it repaired (compared to the 2 months from identifying I needed the filling to having it done on the NHS). I was very nervous about the repair but she has a lovely calm demeanour which puts you at ease. She took her time, and it never felt like she was stressed or rushed, and she was happy to answer my questions after about taking care of her handiwork and how long the repair will last. She took her time with the anaesthetic and I felt far more numb (and so I was confident I was numb) than on the NHS. Even her assistant checked in if I was ok. The drill was also so much quieter than what I’d been used to on the NHS, and I didn’t realise how much that sound had put me on edge.I love the NHS so wasn’t sure about going private, but the whole experience felt so different. I usually come away from a filling feeling tense and ashamed. I realised I’d started to relax before Natalie had finished her work, and I left feeling that next time I need work done I don’t need to spend the afternoon worrying about it.

As an extremely nervous patient, I put off going to the dentist for many years. Megan was really great with me. Still getting my treatment but that is because Megan was very professional and wanting things just right for me. Hamilton Dental Centre is a very relaxing place and all staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend

Today I got my implants fitted to say it was a journey is an understatement (extractions, bone and gum grafts). I was petrified of the dentist…I would shake to the point it felt like I was having a fit in the chair and I would sob!! Today there was no sobs or shaking and that was down to Ali. Him and the team have been so kind and patient with me, they have never made me feel judged or stupid. Have reassured me all the way! I would honestly never have gotten this far without them. And I am truly so grateful I can now smile with confidence and unfortunately for them they are stuck with me because I can honestly say I will never be able to go to any other dentist!!10/10 and all the stars….thank you, thank you, thank you ❤️

I was really nervous to visit as it had been such a long time since I last saw a dentist, but Andy was fantastic. It was the most comfortable I have ever felt at the dentist. He was very thorough during my initial check-up appointment and came up with a fantastic treatment plan after really listening to what I wanted.His nurse Molly was also great and really helped to ease my nerves throughout the appointment. Special thanks as well to Jennifer and Michele on reception for arranging my next appointment and making everything so easy.Overall, it was a fantastic and stress-free experience. Dentistry @No 3,are amazing from the first minute I walked in the door it was a completely different experience, I met Leigh and she was so down to earth it made me feel totally at ease, then even before I met the amazing Ali there were more lovely receptionists ,nurses and hygienists..Ali made my whole experience totally pain free,I'd lost my faith in other dentists that's why I was so scared. I've never liked my teeth but now I can smile again, I would 100 percent recommend Dentistry @No 3 to anyone and have been telling everyone about them..
Had my first appointment with Dawn to go over best treatment options for how I wanted to fix my smile. She was amazing !! We got along so well and she explained everything so clearly but not over complicating anything. Really excited to start my journey with Invisalign. Feel really supported already with dawn and all the info I learned today. Highly recommend dentistry on the square!

I had suffered from toothache for a few weeks and previous dentist could not find anything wrong after several appointments. I am a terrified of dental procedures due to past traumatic experiences hence why I phoned Links Dental Practice as they specialise in pain-free dentistry and helping scared anxious/scared patients. I secured a ‘tooth crisis audit’ appointment within 24hrs. The receptionist who answered the phone could not have been more supportive and empathetic. Within a few minutes of my assessment the problem was found and then repaired. Dr Jennie Farss was an exemplar of compassion, understanding, gentleness and clinical expertise. And yes the procedure was pain free and I no longer have toothache. What a relief… and I have now joined the practice as a new patient. Thank you.
I only ever write reviews when I have been truly impressed. Today I was. I needed an urgent extraction and got a quick booking with Matt Gribbon. He was extremely patient with an old guy with mobility issues. He was detailed in describing the procedure and the possible alternatives if the tooth proved difficult to extract. Fortunately the extraction went well and the tooth was successfully removed from my lower right gum. The performance of Matt and his nurse assistant - Julie I think - was without a doubt 5-star. I can recommend Lismore House DP without reservation
Outstanding, excellent service. Relaxed atmosphere, reception staff are thoughtful and accommodating to your appointment needs. Hygienist appointment was very thorough leaving my teeth and gums in pristine condition and pain free cleaning. Dentist check up pain free and good proffesional advice. Its good going to a dental practice where you feel at ease, lovely premises, easy parking and excellent staff.
I had a super informative dental check up with Rami. He and the rest of the Cherrybank staff created a really welcoming atmosphere during my visit. He obtained a 3D scan and X-Ray of my mouth and gave constructive feedback on the health of my gums, jaw, and teeth. He was really knowledgable and was happy to take the time to answer all my questions. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough!
I love coming in to see Michelle for my hygiene and airflow appointments! She is incredibly thorough whilst also being so gentle while she works. She explains everything so clearly and is extremely professional. Sylwia and Layla have also been great nurses for my appointments. Thank you for making these appointments such a good experience!
After almost 9 months of visits I had my last filling yesterday. The work that was done by Faye was exemplary. The time and care taken by all the team that I have seen has been immense. I still have some extractions but I’m leaving them to later on in the year. All visits have been pain free. Thanks to everyone in the team. I feel so much better now and my teeth look amazing.

I cannot praise the team at The Tooth Doctor, Carluke highly enough. As a very anxious and reluctant patient, Sofia and Aimee did their utmost to allay my fears, answer all my questions and put me at my ease. The treatment so far has been excellent and, as promised, pain free and I have every confidence that it will be completed in the same caring and professional way.

I am delighted with the results of my new full upper arch implants done by Ali. From start to finish, the care was exceptional and genuinely pain free. The procedure was done carefully, at a pace I was comfortable with and offering reassurance throughout the procedure.
